Patna: The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has scheduled document verification for 1166 candidates shortlisted under Advertisement No. 01/2019 for Junior Engineer (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) posts. The verification process, in line with a Supreme Court decision, will take place at the Commission Office, Patna, from November 29 to November 30, 2024.
Candidates must bring their original Diploma certificates, all semester mark sheets, migration certificates, and enrollment slips. Provisional certificates will not be accepted, and only final original documents will be considered. The entire verification process will be recorded via videography, with strict scrutiny to ensure authenticity. Suspicious or provisional certificates will be rejected, and candidates with fake or unverified documents risk immediate disqualification.
In 2022, FIRs were filed against 416 candidates for submitting fake documents under the same advertisement. BTSC has reiterated its commitment to taking stringent action against any fraudulent activity. Candidates caught submitting fake certificates will face legal consequences, including being handed over to the police directly from the verification site.
To maintain order, police personnel will be deployed at the verification center. The Commission has emphasised the importance of transparency and legality throughout the recruitment process to uphold its integrity.
