Hajipur: The General Manager of East Central Railway, Chhatrasal Singh, convened a high-level meeting with departmental heads and senior officials at the railway headquarters in Hajipur on Tuesday. The session focused on assessing passenger amenities, railway safety, and the ongoing development of infrastructure across the zone.
During the review, Singh directed officials to prioritise the timely completion of construction projects and initiatives linked to railway development. Addressing the gathering, he emphasised the importance of train punctuality, infrastructure expansion, and accelerating work under the Amrit Bharat Stations scheme. Key priorities outlined during the meeting included boosting freight operations, increasing revenue, maintaining cleanliness, and enhancing employee welfare.
Singh also underlined the critical need for safety, particularly during the winter months, and urged officials to exercise heightened vigilance in railway operations.
The meeting was attended by departmental heads and senior officers from the headquarters.
