Begusarai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, a key campaigner for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), injected a dose of high-octane rhetoric into the Bihar Assembly election campaign today, declaring an overwhelming “NDA wave” that he claims will secure another term for the coalition.
Fadnavis was in Begusarai to participate in the nomination filing of BJP MLA Kundan Kumar, leading a sprawling road show that covered approximately three kilometers and drew significant crowds.

Speaking directly to the core themes of the election—development versus dynastic politics—Fadnavis delivered a sharp critique of the opposition while articulating the NDA’s mandate.
“For the Grand Alliance, the entire Bihar is their family, and for me, their family is the entire Bihar,” Fadnavis told reporters, utilizing a play on words to emphasize the NDA’s statewide focus. “Therefore, the Grand Alliance will never be able to defeat the NDA.”
He accused the opposition, which he dubbed the “Maha Thugbandhan” (Grand Alliance of Cheats), of prioritizing personal gain. “They only seek power for the development of their own families. They are a lifelong fraud,” he added.
Defending Against Vote Theft Claims
When confronted with allegations of vote theft leveled by the Congress party, the Chief Minister dismissed the claims as unfounded.
“We challenged them to demonstrate, but they didn’t,” he stated, reinforcing his confidence in the electorate’s mood. “Whether it’s Begusarai or the entire Bihar, there’s a strong NDA wave here.”
Fadnavis attributed the strong pro-NDA sentiment to the developmental work done under the dual leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
“The people here have seen Bihar transform, and Bihar thrive,” he concluded. “The people of Bihar love Prime Minister Modi and recognize the value of Nitish Kumar’s leadership.”
Sharing his observations on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), CM Fadnavis reiterated his conviction: “Bihar has gained momentum. The NDA government is set to be formed once again.”
