Patna : Fuel prices in Patna remained largely stable on Thursday, offering a measure of relief to commuters and transport operators amid fluctuating global oil markets.
The price of petrol in the city stood at Rs 105.58 per litre, reflecting a modest increase of Rs 0.17 from the previous day’s rate of Rs 105.41. Diesel prices were recorded at Rs 92.42 per litre, marking a slight rise of Rs 0.16 compared to Rs 92.26 on Wednesday.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) prices remained unchanged at Rs 84.54 per kilogram, continuing a stable trend that has persisted for several months.
Analysts attribute the stability in fuel prices to balanced international crude oil rates and consistent demand patterns. The Indian rupee’s performance against the US dollar has also played a role in maintaining steady import costs.
Local fuel dealers anticipate that prices will remain within this range in the near term, barring any significant global economic shifts.
