Patna: Fuel prices in Patna remained largely unchanged on Wednesday, continuing to offer relief to commuters and transport operators amid ongoing global market fluctuations.
The price of petrol in the city stood at Rs 105.23 per litre, with no change recorded from the previous day. Diesel was priced at Rs 92.09 per litre, also holding steady.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) maintained its consistent trend, with prices remaining unchanged at Rs 84.54 per kilogram.
Industry analysts point to steady global crude oil prices and stable domestic fuel consumption as key reasons for the unchanged rates. A relatively firm rupee against the US dollar has further helped control import costs.
Local fuel dealers in Patna anticipate no major price movements in the immediate term unless there is a significant shift in international oil supply or currency valuations.
