Supaul: Gargi Pathshala was formally inaugurated on Saturday night at the premises of Maa Van Devi Durga Sthan in Hardi, Supaul district. Senior IPS officer and founder of the ‘Let’s Inspire Bihar’ campaign, Vikas Vaibhav, attended the event as the chief guest.
The programme was attended by Let’s Inspire Bihar Supaul coordinator Kumar Bhagwat, Gargi Pathshala director Bagisha Yadav, social workers and local villagers.
Addressing the gathering, Vikas Vaibhav said he was pleased with the establishment of Gargi Pathshala in Hardi, Supaul. He said similar centres are currently operating in about 16 districts of Bihar, with nearly 30 such units actively working to provide education to underprivileged children with the support of socially conscious citizens.
He stressed that every Bihari must contribute towards achieving the goal of “Developed India 2047” by playing an active role in education, entrepreneurship and social development.
Over 3.25 lakh volunteers linked to the campaign
Vaibhav said society needs to rise above caste, community, gender and ideological differences to focus on increasing per capita income, promoting entrepreneurship and motivating youth towards startups.
He said the Let’s Inspire Bihar campaign has connected over 3.25 lakh people on a voluntary basis. Along with education centres, nearly 600 startups are associated with the initiative. The aim is to have at least five such startups in every district, each capable of providing employment to 100 people.
At present, around 30 startups across various districts of Bihar are actively working with the campaign.
Let’s Inspire Bihar event in Delhi on February 22
Vikas Vaibhav also announced that after events in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, the Let’s Inspire Bihar programme will be held at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi on February 22.
He appealed to Biharis living across the country and abroad to connect with their villages and districts and contribute in whatever capacity they can. He said if participation grows into the lakhs, Bihar will witness a major transformation and the vision of Developed India 2047 will become a reality.
