Patna: A college student was brutally attacked and stabbed by a group of six girls in Patna after being accused of having a relationship with one of their boyfriends. The incident took place in the SK Puri area on the evening of 23 July and was reported to the police later that night.
According to the victim’s complaint, she was invited to a friend’s apartment for dinner. When she arrived, she found five other girls there. Her friend accused her of talking to her boyfriend and then snatched her phone. The girls then locked her in a room and began beating her.
The victim also told police that one of the girls stabbed her with a knife, leaving her badly injured. Somehow, she managed to escape from the flat while screaming for help. She went to a nearby government hospital for treatment and later filed a complaint at the SK Puri police station.
She also alleged that the girls took her gold chain and broke her phone by throwing it. The police have registered a case and are investigating the matter. No arrests have been made yet.
