Patna: Gold prices in Patna opened the week with a slight decline, offering some respite to consumers amid persistent wedding season demand. As per the latest market updates, 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 86,140 per 10 grams, while 24-carat gold stands at Rs 93,970 per 10 grams.
Though the rates are marginally lower compared to last week’s highs, local jewellers report steady customer footfall. “Wedding demand is keeping the market active even as prices cool off a bit,” said a jeweller from the popular Hathwa Market in Patna.
Analysts say the dip reflects global market corrections and a stable currency environment. However, they warn that international developments—such as interest rate changes or geopolitical tensions—could affect pricing in the days ahead.
Buyers are advised to monitor daily prices and purchase certified, hallmarked gold to ensure purity and value.
