Patna: Gold prices in Patna moved slightly higher on Monday, following national trends shaped by easing global trade tensions and anticipation of key U.S. economic data, which have impacted demand for safe-haven assets like gold.

  • 24K Gold: Rs 9,303 per gram (up Rs 40)
  • 22K Gold: Rs 8,525 per gram (up Rs 37)
  • 18K Gold: Rs 7,038 per gram (up Rs 30)

This upward movement in gold prices mirrors trends in global bullion markets and domestic futures, where the June 2025 gold contract was last seen trading at Rs 93,037 per 10 grams. The cautious optimism among investors is driving subtle price changes across both retail and wholesale segments.

Patna, a major market in Bihar known for its high seasonal demand during festivals and weddings, often reflects shifts in global prices. The current rise might prompt consumers to make early purchases in anticipation of further price movements.

Consumers are advised to stay updated with daily gold rates and consult local jewellers for precise pricing, as additional charges like GST and making fees may apply. Keeping track of these fluctuations can help ensure better value when buying gold jewellery or coins.
