Patna: Thirty-seven Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers from Bihar will participate in Phase 3 training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), Mussoorie, early next year. The month-long programme is scheduled to take place from January 5 to 30, 2026.
According to the General Administration Department, all officers from the 2015 to 2018 IAS batches posted in the state have been informed and directed to attend. The list includes several district magistrates currently serving across Bihar.
Among those deputed for the training are Aman Sameer (Saran), Sawan Kumar (Supaul), Tushar Singla (Begusarai), Richi Pandey (Sitamarhi), Varsha Singh (Vaishali), Anshul Kumar (Purnia), Ravi Prakash (Nawada), Alankrita Pandey (Jehanabad), Tanay Sultania (Bhojpur), Taranjot Singh (Madhepura), Vishal Raj (Kishanganj), Arif Ahsan (Sheikhpura), Vivek Ranjan Maitray (Sheohar), Anil Kumar (Araria), Abhilasha Sharma (Arwal) and Nikhil Dhanraj (Munger).
Several other IAS officers posted in different departments and districts have also been included in the batch.


Phase 3 training is part of the mid-career programme designed to enhance administrative capacity, deepen policy understanding and strengthen leadership capabilities of serving IAS officers. The officers will undergo modules covering governance, public administration, emerging challenges and sectoral best practices.
The training marks a key component of the service’s professional development cycle and is considered crucial preparation for officers heading into senior administrative roles.
