IIM Bodh Gaya Empowers IOCL Middle Managers with Cutting-Edge Sales Techniques
Bodhgaya: The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya has concluded a highly successful three-day Management Development Program (MDP) aimed at bolstering the sales acumen of middle-level managers at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL). Inaugurated by Dr. Vinita S Sahay, Director of IIM Bodh Gaya, and graced by Mr. Pratik Talukdar, Chief Manager (L&D) at IOCL, the MDP, titled “The Art of Selling,” took place from May 8th to May 10th, 2024, leaving a profound impact on IOCL participants. The event drew around 20 attendees from various states including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Uttarakhand.
Under the guidance of Dr. Chandan Parsad and Dr. Anup Soren, program coordinators, the MDP featured a meticulously crafted curriculum tailored to equip participants with advanced selling techniques, specifically tailored for the B2B market. Throughout the intensive three-day program, participants were immersed in a range of topics including the Psychology of Buying, Sales Process, Sales Force Management, Value Proposition Development, Negotiation Tactics, and Personalization Strategies. These sessions provided invaluable insights and actionable strategies, empowering participants to excel in the fiercely competitive marketplace.
