Patna: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna has achieved a significant milestone with 1st rank among emerging government colleges established in/after 2000, as per the India Today Ranking 2024. In this prestigious category, IIT Gandhi Nagar, IIT Mandi, and IIIT Allahabad secured the 3rd, 4th, and 2nd positions, respectively.
Additionally, IIT Patna has been ranked 9th among Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTI), alongside esteemed institutions such as IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Guwahati. IIT Patna has also demonstrated excellence in placements, being ranked 9th in the category of “Colleges with Best Placement Records” in the country as per the India Today Ranking 2024.
Prof. T. N. Singh, Director of IIT Patna, said, “In recent times, IIT Patna is continuously augmenting its infrastructure facilities, apart from launching new academic programs with focus of industry skill in demand.
