Patna: The Centre for Career Development and Counseling (CCDC) at IIT Patna recently organized an inspiring leadership talk titled “Lead Xcellence,” featuring Dr. Shailendra Singh, Executive Director of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. (MSIL). The event drew an enthusiastic audience of students from the BTech and MTech programs, eager to gain insights from a leader in the automotive industry.
Prior to the session, Dr. Singh met with IIT Patna’s Director, Prof. T.N. Singh, to discuss fostering stronger collaboration between academia and industry. Their conversation highlighted the importance of bridging gaps to create a workforce equipped for the challenges of the future.
The event began with a formal inauguration, including the traditional lighting of the lamp. Dr. Singh was warmly welcomed with a bouquet and a memento presented by Dr. Ashwani Assam, Professor-in-Charge of the CCDC, and Mr. Kripa Shankar Singh, Training and Placement Officer at IIT Patna.
