Patna: Anish Vikramaditya, Neeta Mohindra, and Kavya Shukla are set to captivate audiences in the forthcoming film “Dilon Mein Ufaan,” slated for release on November 28. The thought-provoking film, addressing the grave issue of violence against women, will be available for streaming on Hungama OTT.
The cast, featuring Neeta Mohindra, Anish Vikramaditya, Kavya Shukla, Deeksha Asthana, Ashutosh Sinha, and Dharam Sharma, delivers powerful performances under the direction of Sukhwinder Singh. Rachna Kumari takes on the role of producer for this socially conscious project.
Presented by Metafabex Industries Pvt Ltd, the film was launched by the legendary actor Devanand, with Anish Vikramaditya, the actor and producer of “Match Box,” taking the lead role. Speaking about the film, Vikramaditya shared that “Dilon Mein Ufaan” revolves around the story of former dancer Sanno and her troupe members residing in a small town. The narrative takes a dark turn with shocking events impacting Sanno’s disabled daughter, Simmi, leading to a relentless pursuit of justice. The film exposes the stagnation and corruption within the justice system, prompting a critical examination of whether women can trust the existing legal framework for their physical safety.
In a poignant tribute, Anish Vikramaditya dedicates “Dilon Mein Ufaan” to Devanand, commemorating the legendary actor’s 100th birth anniversary this year.
Neeta Mohindra, renowned for her role as Sushant Singh Rajput’s mother in “Dhoni: Untold Story,” emphasized the film’s relevance to the ground realities of the country and society.
