Jessica Kumar, founder of Learn Hindi Anywhere, was the guest speaker for the session. Known for her work in promoting Hindi learning among non-native speakers, she shared her insights on the role of multilingualism as a bridge between communities, cultures, and opportunities. Drawing from her experiences as a polyglot and cultural ambassador, she emphasized India’s unique linguistic diversity and its potential in education, diplomacy, technology, and global interactions.

The session was interactive and thought-provoking, encouraging students to explore language learning with curiosity and confidence. The event began with bilingual anchoring by Shruti from MA Semester 2, setting an inclusive and engaging tone. The Q&A segment saw active participation, with students sharing their own language-learning journeys and aspirations. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Muskan from MA Semester 2.

Dr. Devina Krishna, coordinator of the Lexicon Language Club, expressed gratitude to the speaker on behalf of Dr. Sahar Rahman, Head of the Department of English. She commended the efforts of the Lexicon Language Club in fostering linguistic diversity and academic discussions. The session not only celebrated India’s multilingual heritage but also sparked meaningful conversations about the future of language learning in an era shaped by artificial intelligence.
