IPRD highlights Bihar government schemes at Patna Book Fair

Patna: The Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Bihar, has set up an informative stall at the ongoing Patna Book Fair, attracting large crowds, including students, women, entrepreneurs, and members of the general public. The stall provides visitors with comprehensive details about the state government’s welfare and development schemes, offering insights into nearly 100 initiatives across various departments.

Prominent schemes being highlighted include Mukhyamantri Kanya Utthan Yojana, Mukhyamantri Balika Shashaktikaran Yojana, Mukhyamantri Boys and Girls Cycle Schemes, Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Incentive Scheme, Minority Welfare Hostel Scheme, Dial-112, Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan, Mukhyamantri Small Entrepreneur Scheme, and Janani Shishu Suraksha Program.

Other featured programmes include the Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Yojana, Mukhyamantri Digital Health Scheme, Mukhyamantri Rural Solar Street Light Scheme, Mukhyamantri Krishi Vidyut Sambandh Yojana, Bihar Public Grievance Redressal Rights Act, Bihar Right to Public Services Act, Agriculture Road Map, Paddy Procurement, Dashrath Manjhi Skill Development Scheme, and Bihar Agricultural Investment Promotion Policy.

The stall also highlights the state’s major initiatives, such as the “Aatmnirbhar Bihar Ke Saat Nischay,” with a focus on welfare and sustainable development.

Departments showcased at the stall include Health, Agriculture, Education, Rural Development, Minority Welfare, Social Welfare, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare, Backward Class and Extremely Backward Class Welfare, Art, Culture and Youth, Cooperation, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, General Administration, Revenue and Land Reforms, Tourism, Animal and Fisheries Resources, Rural Works, Road Construction, Industry, and Energy.

Pamphlets, banners, and displays provide easy-to-access information, helping visitors understand the state government’s initiatives aimed at public welfare, development, and empowerment.
