Patna: ISKCON Patna successfully hosted the grand youth festival “Utkantha” on Monday, bringing together over 2,000 young men and women to connect with spirituality, culture, and moral values. The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by ISKCON Patna President Krishna Kripa Das, Padma Shri Dr. R.N. Singh, HG Sundar Gopal Prabhuji (IIT Delhi, IIYC Chairman, Zonal Supervisor – Central Bihar – West UP), HG Raman Manohar Das (Prof. IIT Patna), and Dr. Laxmidhar Behera (Director, IIT Mandi).
Dr. Laxmidhar Behera delivered an inspiring lecture on “How to Make Life Successful,” emphasizing success mantras, discipline, spirituality, and moral values in modern life. His speech encouraged the youth to lead meaningful lives. HG Sundar Gopal Prabhuji further engaged the audience by addressing their pressing questions on life and devotion, offering profound insights that drew them closer to spiritual reflection and the path of devotion.
The festival featured a variety of engaging and motivational programs, including seminars, drama, quizzes, kirtan, and prasadam distribution. A 15-minute quiz competition was conducted among the 2,000+ participants, where the top five winners received special prizes. This initiative sparked greater enthusiasm among the youth for knowledge and spirituality.
“Utkantha” was not just a spiritual event but a transformative experience for young attendees, inspiring them toward personal growth and positive change. The participants left with renewed spiritual energy and a commitment to incorporating these values into their daily lives.
