Patna: Jan Suraj Party has launched an ambitious expansion programme aimed at accelerating social and political change across Bihar. As part of the campaign, the party has set a target of organising 1,500 meetings in village panchayats daily over the next 100 days under the Jan Suraj Samvad initiative. The initiative seeks to raise public awareness while expanding the party’s organisational reach. Each meeting is expected to bring at least 50 new members into the fold.
The campaign aims to engage all sections of society, with a special focus on women, youth, minorities, and scheduled castes. Party leaders and officials have been tasked with conducting at least three dialogue programmes per day. The initiative, launched on March 2 following a call by Prashant Kishor, successfully met its target on the first day, with more than 1,500 meetings held in villages across Bihar.
The Jan Suraj Abhiyan seeks to establish direct dialogue with citizens and lay the groundwork for what the party calls a “better alternative politics” in Bihar. The expansion drive aims to connect diverse groups, including farmers, labourers, teachers, and business communities.
As part of the strategy, at least three meetings will be held daily in every block of Bihar to discuss local issues and introduce Jan Suraj’s ideology as a potential solution. Party leaders believe this grassroots outreach will help strengthen political awareness and lay the foundation for a new political culture in Bihar.
Describing the initiative as a “historic campaign,” Jan Suraj leaders have positioned it as a step towards progress and prosperity for the state.
