JP Ganga Path Nears Completion, Didarganj Phase Expected by Month-End

Patna: The construction of JP Ganga Path, a 20.5 km-long four-lane expressway along the bank of Ganga from Digha to Didarganj, is nearing completion, promising smoother travel and improved connectivity in Patna.
Road construction minister Nitin Nabin, after inspecting the site on Thursday, confirmed that the Digha-Didarganj stretch is complete. He reviewed the fourth phase of the project, which runs from Kangan Ghat to Didarganj, alongside Bihar State Road Development Corporation’s managing director Shirshat Kapil Ashok and chief general manager Prem Chandra Gupta.
Designed to ease traffic congestion in the capital, the expressway will link key locations such as Krishna Ghat, the commissioner’s office, Gosai Tola, and Digha. The project is expected to provide relief from traffic bottlenecks, particularly at Zero Mile.
Nabin directed officials to complete the remaining construction work by the end of the month, ensuring that the route is opened to the public at the earliest.
