Karwa Chauth 2025 Moonrise Time: What Time Will the Moon Be Visible in Your City Today?

Patna: Married women across India are marking Karwa Chauth today, a festival observed on the fourth day of the waning moon in the Hindu month of Kartik. Traditionally, women fast from sunrise until they sight the moon, offering prayers before breaking their fast. The ritual is believed to ensure the long life and prosperity of their husbands.

One of the most significant moments of the day is the moonrise, which determines when women end their fast. The timings vary depending on location, with some cities seeing an earlier moonrise than others.
