Krishna Ghat Link Road to Ashok Rajpath Nears Completion, Inauguration Soon

Patna: The Krishna Ghat link road, connecting Ashok Rajpath to J.P. Ganga Path, is nearly finished and is expected to be inaugurated soon. Managing Director of Bihar State Road Development Corporation Limited, Shirshat Kapil Ashok, visited the project site today to review the progress. He was accompanied by General Manager Arun Kumar, Deputy General Manager Om Prakash Sinha, and the contractor’s engineering team.

This new route will improve access to Mahendru, Khazanchi Road, Ramana Road, and Patna University, benefiting both residents and students in the surrounding areas. The link road, located near the double-decker bridge being constructed by Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited, is designed to ease traffic and enhance connectivity.

During the inspection, Shirshat Kapil Ashok instructed that all road safety measures on the link path be completed within two to three days. He also directed officials to expedite the drainage and roadwork at the Ashok Rajpath junction by the end of this month to ensure smooth commuting for the public.

Additionally, the ongoing PQC work on the road below the link path is expected to be completed by the end of this month. In view of the upcoming inauguration, Ashok emphasized the need for increased manpower and machinery, with work to be carried out in day and night shifts to meet the deadline.
