Patna/Samastipur: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is preparing to launch the fourth phase of its teacher recruitment examination, with Samastipur district alone reporting 1,086 vacant teaching posts across government schools.
Officials from the state education department confirmed that detailed vacancy data covering primary, middle, secondary, and higher secondary schools has been submitted to the commission. The recruitment notification under BPSC TRE-4 is expected to be issued by January 26, 2026.

The education department said final subject-wise and category-wise allocations will be determined based on district-level verification. Thousands of teachers have already been appointed through earlier phases of the TRE examination, and the fourth round is expected to further address staffing shortages across Bihar’s government schools.
