Patna: Lalu Prasad, the charismatic and often controversial political figure, celebrated his 77th birthday with characteristic flair. The RJD supremo marked the occasion by cutting a 77-pound cake at the Rabri residence, surrounded by family members and party leaders.
The celebratory gathering included his wife, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, and his daughter Rohini Acharya, among other prominent figures from the RJD. Rabri was seen feeding cake to her husband, adding a personal touch to the festivities.
The celebration continued late into the night, with Lalu cutting another cake with his family. Tej Pratap Yadav, his son, shared photos of the intimate family gathering on Instagram. The pictures featured Rabri, Rohini Acharya, and Lalu himself, along with heartwarming moments of family togetherness.
Rohini also took to social media to extend her birthday wishes, expressing her gratitude and love for her father. “It is my good fortune to be the daughter of a great personality like you,” she wrote. “Since childhood, you have taught me the true meaning of life, humanity, love, sacrifice, and hard work.”
From the Rabri residence to the RJD office, Lalu’s birthday was celebrated with enthusiasm. Supporters arrived bearing sweets and cakes, including the traditional Bundi laddu, to join in the festivities.
