Patna: Lokesh Kumar Singh officially assumed office as the new Tourism Secretary today at the Chief Secretariat’s Tourism Department. He succeeded Abhay Kumar Singh, the outgoing Secretary.
Upon his arrival, Lokesh Kumar Singh was warmly welcomed by Tourism Director Vinay Kumar Rai and General Manager Abhijeet Kumar, who presented him with a bouquet of flowers.
On his first day in office, the new Tourism Secretary focused on familiarizing himself with the department’s schemes and operations. He instructed the officials and employees to dedicate themselves to enhancing the department’s performance and ensuring that information about departmental programs reaches the public effectively.
Singh emphasized the importance of continuous efforts in this direction and encouraged all departmental officers and employees to work diligently towards these goals. All staff members were present to greet and support him on this occasion.
