Patna: Maruti Suzuki India Limited, the country’s leading automobile manufacturer, will conduct an employment drive on June 6 in Patna to recruit students from the ‘Fire Technology and Safety’ branch of Government Polytechnic Institutes across Bihar.
The initiative, supported by the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Bihar, in collaboration with IIT Patna, aims to create high-quality job opportunities for final-year polytechnic students in the state.
The interview programme will take place at Taramandal, Patna. It follows a pre-placement process that included a company presentation, profile shortlisting and an online test. Candidates will be interviewed for the position of Junior Engineer Trainee.
Successful candidates will be offered a salary package of Rs 4,75,000 per annum in the first year, which will increase to Rs 5,25,000 in the second year.
According to officials from the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, this is part of the state’s ongoing effort to boost industry engagement and employment avenues for skilled technical graduates in Bihar.
