Patna: A medicine trader from Patna’s Kadamkuan area has gone missing under mysterious circumstances, shortly after the murder of local businessman Gopal Khemka, prompting a police investigation.
Krishna Prasad, who owns a medical store on GM Road, has not been seen since Saturday morning. According to police, he left home around 10am after a quarrel with family members, leaving his mobile phone behind. He neither reached his shop nor returned home, leading his family to file a missing person’s report at the Kadamkuan police station.
CCTV footage has reportedly captured Prasad in the Ramna Road area on the day of his disappearance. Police have launched a search operation and are looking into all possible angles, though they have not officially linked the incident to Khemka’s murder.
“We are actively investigating the case and examining all available evidence,” a police official said.
