Muzaffarpur/Patna : Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is scheduled to visit Muzaffarpur on December 13, 2026, to address the Abhyudaya Sangh Samagam being organised by the North Bihar province of the organisation.
Bhagwat will be the main speaker at the gathering, which is expected to bring together volunteers from districts across North Bihar.
50,000 Volunteers Expected to Attend
Around 50,000 fully uniformed RSS volunteers are expected to participate in the event, according to organisers.
Preparations are being undertaken on a large scale, with arrangements for the expected gathering being worked out. Volunteers are also expected to conduct outreach activities across different areas to encourage participation.
Online Registration Begins
A special training camp was organised at Madhukar Niketan, the RSS provincial office in Muzaffarpur, as part of preparations for the gathering.
The organisation has also started the online registration process for participants. Training sessions are being held to brief volunteers about preparations and registration-related activities.
Patahi Airfield Identified as Possible Venue
The Patahi airfield ground in Muzaffarpur has been identified as a possible venue for the programme.
However, the final venue and detailed arrangements are still being worked out. Organisers are also examining other large and suitable grounds in the city before taking a final decision.
Volunteers From Across North Bihar to Participate
The programme is being planned at the North Bihar provincial level, with volunteers from different districts expected to attend.
The organisers are preparing area-wise outreach and coordination to facilitate participation from across the region.
Preparations Underway for December Event
RSS functionaries have begun finalising responsibilities and logistical arrangements for the gathering.
According to department-level RSS functionary Chandramohan Khanna Channi, preparations are being carried out to ensure participation from across North Bihar. Senior functionaries were also present during the registration and training session held at Madhukar Niketan.
The December 13 programme will be one of the major RSS gatherings planned in Muzaffarpur, with the final venue and other logistical arrangements expected to be confirmed ahead of the event.
