Patna/Munger: In a tragic incident in Munger, Bihar, a 25-year-old labourer, Sanjeev Paswan, died after becoming trapped in a thresher machine, officials confirmed. The accident took place on Tuesday evening near Indira Nagar in Bhagalpura village, under the jurisdiction of Tarapur police station.
Eyewitnesses reported that Paswan was engaged in rice threshing when one of his hands got caught in the machine. The thresher reportedly pulled in half of his body, leading to his immediate death.
Police arrived at the scene promptly and have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident. Local residents gathered at the site, while the family of the deceased was left in shock. Authorities were still attempting to safely extract the body from the machine at the time of reporting.
