Muzaffarpur: A shocking case has come to light in Muzaffarpur where the body of TV and mobile mechanic Paresh Pal, 38, was found hanging inside his shop at Harisabha Chowk on Saturday morning. The incident has created panic in the area.
Family members claim it is not suicide but murder. They said Paresh’s mouth was tied with tape and there were deep marks on his neck. According to them, he was killed and then his body was hung to make it look like suicide.
Paresh had left home after breakfast, dropped his son at school and went to the shop. When his wife, Mausami Pal, kept calling and got no answer, a staff member later picked up the phone and told her in panic that Paresh was hanging. The family rushed to the spot, where his wife fainted several times on seeing the body.
Police and a forensic team reached the shop before taking down the body and collected evidence. The body has been sent for postmortem, and officers said the real cause of death will be known only after the report. Paresh, who was married for 15 years and has a five-year-old son, has left his family broken. They are demanding justice and a proper investigation.
