NIFT Patna Concludes 9th ‘Operation Breakdown’ Workshop in Begusarai

Begusarai/ Patna: The certificate distribution ceremony for the ninth workshop on ‘Operation Breakdown’ for clothing was held at the Begusarai Extension Centre of NIFT Patna. The event marked the completion of a three-day training programme that ran from February 19 to 21, with 30 participants receiving hands-on training in garment production.
Begusarai Mayor Pinky Devi and Deputy Mayor Sanjay Kumar were present at the ceremony, where they commended Jeevika Didis for their participation. The workshop covered key aspects of the clothing production line, including garment construction, material consumption, and costing. Participants were also trained in the making of a ladies’ blouse and a men’s shirt.
The sessions were conducted under the guidance of Col Rahul Sharma, Director of NIFT Patna, with Dr Manoj Kumar Paras (Nodal Officer), Dr Nilima Topno (Associate Professor), and Prince Kumar (Lab Assistant) leading the training.
The Mayor and Deputy Mayor credited Union Minister of Textiles, Giriraj Singh, for his efforts in establishing the Begusarai Extension Centre of NIFT Patna, enabling local aspirants to pursue fashion-related training without having to relocate to major cities like Patna or Delhi.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks to the Mayor and Deputy Mayor for their presence and support.
