Patna: The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) in Patna is set to host a five-day summer camp, Design Express – A Creative Journey through Fashion and Design, from May 26 to 30. Aimed at aspiring designers aged 12 to 25, the initiative will offer hands-on experiences across various creative disciplines.
The programme includes a range of curated sessions such as Design Voyage, Visual Arts Journey, Paper Modelling, Folk Art Reimagined, Mobile Photo Stories, Tie and Dye Reimagined, Fashion Illustration Lab, and Creative Style Statements. Each session is designed to immerse participants in the fundamentals of design while encouraging creative expression.
“This summer camp is a unique initiative to provide young creative minds a platform to engage with the dynamic world of design,” said Col Rahul Sharma, director of NIFT Patna. “It not only introduces them to the fundamentals of fashion and visual storytelling but also encourages them to express their individuality through hands-on workshops.”
Participants will be provided with exclusive kits and materials, and the workshops will be conducted by experienced faculty and industry professionals. Organisers say the camp aims to inspire and equip the next generation of designers through an engaging and supportive learning environment.
