Patna : Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday inspected the under-construction terminal at Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport in Patna, reviewing key facilities such as the cafeteria, modern lounge, parking area, and check-in counters.
During the visit, officials briefed Nitish Kumar on the progress of the project, assuring him that all work would be completed by June. The expansion includes the construction of 41 aero stations, aimed at accommodating the rising number of passengers.
CM Nitish Kumar emphasised the importance of timely completion, stating that regular inspections were being conducted to ensure progress. “Finish the remaining work quickly so that passengers can benefit from better facilities,” he said.
With enhanced infrastructure, officials anticipate a significant boost in air traffic at the facility.
