Patna: Patna authorities have assured residents that there is no shortage of LPG gas in the district, with distributors and gas companies maintaining adequate supplies. The District Magistrate stated that bookings and deliveries continue to operate through missed calls, SMS, IVRS, WhatsApp, and OTP-based systems, with a 25-day interval between consecutive bookings.
The assurance came after a review meeting convened by the District Magistrate with area officers of gas companies, field officers, the Additional District Magistrate (Supply), the Special Officer for Allocation, and all sub-divisional officers. Officials are closely monitoring the situation to ensure uninterrupted supply.
“All sub-divisional officers have been instructed to conduct regular inspections and raids at LPG dealers and distributors,” the District Magistrate said. Authorities have also been directed to strictly prevent black marketing and hoarding, with FIRs to be filed against offenders. Residents have been urged not to panic book and to rely on the official booking channels.
