Patna: To protect people from the ongoing cold wave, the district administration in Patna has arranged for bonfires at over 105 locations. Additionally, night shelters operating at 29 locations have provided shelter to around 19,796 people. So far, about 7,000 blankets have been distributed to those in need, with the distribution process continuing.
Senior officials, including sub-divisional officers, are closely monitoring the situation as directed by the District Magistrate. The district administration has urged the public to adhere to the cold wave advisory issued by the Disaster Management Department for their safety.
