Patna : A joint team of Patna police and the Special Task Force (STF) raided two properties linked to Danapur MLA Ritlal Yadav on Friday, in a significant operation reportedly prompted by a complaint filed against the lawmaker.
The raids took place simultaneously at Yadav’s residence in Kothwan and at Mahajan Mansion in Gola Road’s Engineer Nagar. The operation is being led by City Superintendent of Police Sarath R S, with police officers from multiple stations and STF personnel deployed in large numbers.
According to police, the action follows a formal complaint filed by a local resident naming Ritlal Yadav and six to seven others. An FIR has been registered in the case and the raids are being carried out under court orders.
“At this stage, we cannot share further details,” said City SP Sarath R S. “The investigation is ongoing, and full information will be released once the operation concludes.”
