
Patna: Patna’s development is set to get a boost with new projects worth Rs 1.7 crore. On Monday, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary laid the foundation stone for these schemes at BMP 10 Talab Maidan.
Under these plans, a boundary wall, underground drain, guest house, electricity connection, railings, Kota stone flooring, tiles, mosaic tiles, main gate, and paver blocks will be constructed at the BMP 10 pond ground. Officials said these works will make the area cleaner, safer, and more convenient for the public.
Many leaders were present at the ceremony, including Urban Development and Housing Minister Jiwesh Kumar, MLA Sanjeev Chaurasia, Mayor Sita Sahu, Deputy Mayor Reshmi Kumari, and Ward Councillor Usha Devi. Senior municipal officials and other staff members also attended the event.
Speaking at the programme, Deputy Chief Minister Choudhary said the government is committed to improving civic facilities in Patna. He urged officials to ensure that the work is completed on time and benefits people without any delay.
