Patna Women’s College Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Patriotic Fervor
Patna: Patna Women’s College (Autonomous), Patna University marked the 76th Republic Day with enthusiasm and a deep sense of patriotism. The celebration began with an impressive march past by hostel students, reflecting their discipline and unity.
The National Flag was ceremonially hoisted by the Principal, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C., and Sister Jincy A.C., Superior of Avila Convent, Patna Women’s College, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem. The patriotic spirit was further heightened as the hostel students presented a series of heartfelt songs, including “Aye mere watan,” which evoked strong emotions of love and devotion for the nation.
Kaushikee Kanchan and Akanksha Chaturvedi, both hostel students, moderated the event seamlessly. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sister M. Rashmi A.C. extended her wishes on Republic Day and spoke about the importance of the Constitution’s preamble. She encouraged everyone to embody the values symbolized by the National Tricolor and remembered the sacrifices of freedom fighters.
The event concluded on a high note with the song “Lehra do,” as everyone waved the National Flag in unison. The celebration filled the atmosphere with joy, patriotism, and a profound sense of national unity.
