Patna: The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor at the Bihar Legislative Council. The National Flag was hoisted by the Chairman of Bihar Legislative Council, Awadhesh Narayan Singh, during a ceremonial event held at the council premises.
The occasion was graced by the Speaker of Bihar Legislative Assembly, Nand Kishore Yadav, Deputy Speaker Narendra Narayan Yadav, Deputy Chairman of Bihar Legislative Council Ram Vachan Rai, Chief Whip of the ruling party Sanjay Kumar Singh, and members Sameer Kumar Singh, Virendra Narayan Yadav, Kumud Verma, and Nivedita Singh. Former member Sanjay Paswan, Rozina Nazis, Secretary of Bihar Legislative Council Akhilesh Kumar Jha, Secretary of the Legislative Assembly Khyati Singh, along with other officers and employees of the council, also attended the celebration.
