Patna: Patna Women’s College has published the first merit list for admission to various professional courses for the 2026-27 academic session. According to the college administration, more than 1,076 students have been shortlisted for admission.
The admission process will be conducted in phases between June 1 and 4 at the college campus.
Admission schedule announced
College authorities said selected candidates must report on the assigned date and time with all required documents to complete the admission formalities.
The administration added that if seats remain vacant after the first round, candidates from the waiting list will be given an opportunity for admission on June 4.
Admissions for BCA, BBA and Microbiology on June 1
Admissions for BCA, BBA, Microbiology, AMM, BMC and ECM courses will be held on June 1.
Among these, BBA recorded the highest number of selections, with more than 180 students shortlisted. Around 95 students have been selected for BCA and 60 for Microbiology.
Courses scheduled for June 2 and 3
On June 2, admissions will be conducted for B.Com. Accounting and Finance, B.Com. Taxation and Auditing, AI and Machine Learning, and Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics programmes.
The admission process for the BA Fashion Designing course will be completed on June 3.
Students asked to carry required documents
The college administration has asked students to carry all necessary documents, including Class X and XII marksheets, transfer certificate (TC), character certificate, Aadhaar card and passport-size photographs.
Rising demand for technical and job-oriented courses
College sources said there has been a significant rise in interest among students towards technical and employment-oriented courses this year.
Several programmes with limited seats witnessed strong competition during the admission process.
