Patna Women’s College Hosts Webinar on Commodity Derivatives Market in India
Patna: The Department of Commerce at Patna Women’s College (PWC) organized a webinar in collaboration with the Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX) aimed at shedding light on the intricacies of the Commodity Derivatives Market in India. The event, held on Tuesday, targeted students enrolled in semester-II, IV, and VI of B. Com.
Anish Vyas, Manager of Research & Index Administration at MCX, served as the key resource person for the webinar. Vyas delved into various aspects of the global derivative market, elucidating on factors influencing commodity markets, futures, call and put options, and other pertinent topics. Additionally, he provided insights into regulatory frameworks and the current operational landscape of the market.
Akash Bhosle, Executive of Financial Institutions Marketing at MCX, expounded on the diverse career prospects available within the commodity and derivative market sectors. The session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, allowing students to seek clarifications directly from the resource persons.
