Portfolios Allocated to Seven New Bihar BJP Ministers, Vijay Sinha’s Departments Reshuffled

Patna: The Bihar government has allocated portfolios to seven newly inducted ministers, with key changes made to the responsibilities of Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha. Sinha, who previously held the Road Construction, Art, Culture, and Mining departments, has now been assigned the Mining and Agriculture portfolios, with Road Construction and Art & Culture being reassigned.
In another significant change, the Urban Development Department has been transferred from Nitin Naveen to Jeevesh Mishra. Naveen will now oversee the Road Construction Department.
The reshuffle followed discussions between Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary at the CM’s residence. The cabinet expansion saw seven BJP MLAs sworn in as ministers on Wednesday. The portfolio allocation comes just a day before the commencement of the budget session on Friday.
