Patna : A new swimming session for the public has commenced at Patna’s Moin-ul-Haq Stadium, with the Bihar State Sports Authority Director, Ravindra Nath Choudhary. The half-Olympic standard pool—25 metres in length, 11 metres wide and 10 feet deep—is now open to residents with multiple pricing options.

The stadium’s swimming pool, long used for sports training, will now be accessible to non-athletes during designated sessions. According to the rate card released during the inauguration, the fee for adult men and women is Rs10,000 for the April to October season, or Rs3,500 for a single month.

Children under the age of 12 will pay Rs7,000 for the full season and Rs2,000 for a month. Players representing Bihar at the state level will pay a reduced seasonal fee of Rs3,000 or Rs500 per month.

The facility also offers family packages. A combined membership for a couple and one child is priced at Rs21,000 for the full session or Rs7,000 for a month. Those looking to take up swimming on an hourly basis can do so at a rate of Rs200 per hour.

Swimming sessions will be held twice a day, with the morning session starting at 6am and the evening session beginning at 4pm.
