Darbhanga/Patna: The Plurals Party hosted a Dawat-e-Iftar at Imambadi in Laheriasarai, Darbhanga, where party president Pushpam Priya Chaudhary launched a scathing attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, urging him to retire from politics.
Speaking at the event, Pushpam took a swipe at Nitish, referencing his recent misstep during the national anthem. “There is no need to say anything more—such mistakes happen with age. But it is unfortunate that there is no one around him to tell him that his time is over,” she said.
She further stated that those who truly care for CM Nitish should advise him to step aside. “He has contributed a lot to Bihar, but his well-wishers must make him understand that it is time to retire gracefully. The concept of retirement age exists for a reason—it is the demand of the times,” she added.
