Rahul Gandhi’s Visit to Bihar on January 18 to Boost Congress, Address Social Organizations
Patna: State Congress President Dr. Akhilesh Prasad Singh held a press conference at the Bihar Congress Headquarters, Sadakat Ashram, to announce the arrival of former Congress National President and Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi, in Patna on January 18. During his visit, Rahul Gandhi will address a gathering at the State Congress office and inaugurate the renovated Rajiv Sabhagar auditorium and the newly constructed Indira Bhawan, which will serve as the Congress office employees’ building. Dr. Akhilesh Prasad Singh emphasized that Rahul Gandhi’s visit will strengthen the Congress party in Bihar and help uproot the BJP-Nitish Kumar alliance.
Dr. Singh added that the arrival of Rahul Gandhi in the new year would rejuvenate the Bihar Congress workers, inspiring them to unite and work towards forming a new government in the state. A grand meeting will be held at the Sadakat Ashram premises, where Rahul Gandhi will engage with party workers and supporters, further energizing the Congress in Bihar.
Leader of the Congress Legislature Party, Dr. Shakeel Ahmed Khan, highlighted that during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi initiated talks with various social organizations in Bihar. Continuing this dialogue, he will meet with social organizations at the Bapu Auditorium in Patna to discuss topics like the Constitution and social harmony, before attending the program at the State Congress office.
The press conference was attended by various Congress leaders, including former State Congress President Prof. Ram Jatan Sinha, Prem Chandra Mishra, Veena Shahi, Dr. Ashok Kumar, MLA Rajesh Kumar, Bijendra Chaudhary, Neetu Singh, former MP Ajay Nishad, Brajesh Pandey, Nirmal Verma, Rajesh Rathore, Brajesh Prasad Munan, Lal Babu Lal, Anand Madhav, Gyan Ranjan, and others.
