Ramkripal Yadav Inaugurates AC Waiting Hall for Public Convenience at Patliputra Station
Patna: Ramkripal Yadav, Member of Parliament of the Bharatiya Janata Party from Pataliputra Lok Sabha constituency, unveiled the newly constructed second class AC waiting hall at Patliputra station in western Patna. The inauguration of the waiting hall, built at a cost of Rs 1.5 crore, aims to enhance public convenience for railway passengers.
In his address during the inauguration, MP Ramkripal Yadav emphasized the importance of the newly inaugurated second class AC waiting hall in catering to the needs of common citizens. He highlighted that passengers ranging from sleeper class to AC class will benefit from the facility, providing them with a comfortable space to wait for their trains.
The construction of the waiting hall, at a substantial cost of Rs 1.5 crore, underscores the commitment to improving passenger amenities at the station. Notably, the facility also includes a dedicated maternity room, reflecting efforts to accommodate diverse passenger needs.
Historically, Patliputra station operated a limited number of trains; however, the recent expansion of services has necessitated the development of infrastructure to accommodate increased passenger traffic.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including ADRM Anupam Kumar, railway officers, employees, and Dharmendra Kumar, the BJP Rural President, among others.
