Patna: In a move aimed at strengthening governance and public service delivery, Bihar’s Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Sanjay Saraogi will begin district-level reviews of revenue operations in Muzaffarpur on Friday, June 6.
The review meetings will continue in West Champaran on June 12 and East Champaran on June 13. The sessions are set to focus on key departmental matters including revenue collection, pending mutation cases, implementation of the Basera 2 housing campaign, land survey progress, and the efficiency of digital services.
The Additional Chief Secretary of the department, Deepak Kumar Singh, will attend the Muzaffarpur review. Secretary Jai Singh will participate in the meetings in West and East Champaran. Local administrative officials including Additional District Magistrates (Revenue), Land Reforms Deputy District Magistrates, Circle Officers and representatives from technical units will also be present.
The district-wise assessments will include a zonal evaluation of pending cases in revenue courts, adoption of digital measurement systems, and the pace of e-services rollout.
Saraogi has underlined the importance of transparency, accountability and the use of technology in streamlining land and revenue administration. The reviews aim to uncover on-ground realities, identify bottlenecks, and ensure faster, hassle-free service delivery for the public.
