Patna: Renowned spiritual leader Sadhvi Ritambhara visited the campuses of KIIT and KISS in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, praising the institutions and describing KISS as an “extraordinary” institution that reflects the sanctity of pilgrimage sites and the divinity of all deities.
During her visit, she blessed the girl students and said she had been associated with the field of education for several years. However, she described KISS, founded by educationist and social worker Dr Achyuta Samanta, as a unique institution in the country.
“Coming here has brought me so much happiness that it is difficult to express in words. KISS embodies the sanctity of all pilgrimage sites and the divinity of all deities,” she said.
Sadhvi Ritambhara Praises Dr Achyuta Samanta’s Work
Appreciating the efforts of KIIT and KISS founder Dr Achyuta Samanta, Sadhvi Ritambhara said KISS reflects the dedication, hard work and perseverance of one individual.
“KISS reflects the dedication and perseverance of one person. Today, I have seen here what perseverance, hard work and dedication truly mean,” she said.
She also praised the discipline and values displayed by the children at KISS, saying the campus made her feel that she was witnessing “the real India”. She urged KISS students to feel proud of receiving their education under the guidance of Dr Samanta.
Focus on Self-Respect and Self-Reliance
The spiritual leader stressed that people should not limit themselves to giving advice but should actively help others. She said KISS teaches children not only to live with self-respect but also to become self-reliant.
“Children here are taught not only to live with self-respect but also to become self-reliant. A person can live with self-respect only when they are self-reliant,” she said.
Dr Achyuta Samanta delivered the welcome address, while KISS Vice-Chancellor Prof. Saranjeet Singh proposed the vote of thanks. Renowned educationist Ashok Pandey introduced the guests during the programme.
