Patna: As political activity intensifies ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, the Samajwadi Party (SP) has announced that it will campaign in support of the Grand Alliance candidates in the state. On Friday, the party released a list of 27 star campaigners who will spearhead its campaign efforts.
The list includes prominent leaders such as SP president Akhilesh Yadav, MP Dimple Yadav, and senior leader Mohammad Azam Khan, who has been declared a star campaigner despite his limited public appearances in recent times.
Other notable names in the list are National Vice President Kiran Nanda, National General Secretary Mohammad Azam Khan, MPs Afzal Ansari, Awadhesh Prasad, Babu Singh Kushwaha, Naresh Uttam Patel, Ramashankar Vidyarthi Rajbhar, Lal Ji Verma, Chhote Lal Kharwar, Rajiv Rai, Sanatan Pandey, Ikra Hasan, Priya Saroj, and Laxmikant alias Pappu Nishad.

The list also features MLA Tej Pratap Singh, MLA Om Prakash Singh, and key office bearers of the Samajwadi Cultural Cell — National President Kashinath Yadav and State President Dharmendra Solanki (Bhurji).
The elections for all 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly will be held in two phases. Voting for the first 121 constituencies will take place on November 6, followed by polling for the remaining 122 seats on November 11. Counting of votes for all constituencies is scheduled for November 14, and the election process will formally conclude on November 16, ahead of the current Assembly’s term ending on November 22.
