PATNA: As the festive fervor of Durga Puja subsides, educational institutions across the state are reopening, marking a significant step towards normalcy. After days of celebration and festivities, schools and colleges in Patna are welcoming back students, eager to resume their academic pursuits. Many notable institutions like Notre Dame Academy, Loyola High School, St. Xavier’s High School, Magadh Mahila College, and Patna Science College, among others, have opened their doors to students.

Students Eager to Resume Studies
Students expressed a mix of eagerness and apprehension as they stepped back into classrooms. For many, Durga Puja was a much-needed respite from their academic endeavors, and they now face the task of refocusing on their studies. Aarit, a class 10 student from Loyola High School shared, “The break was fun, but I know we have to get back to studying. Exams are around the corner, and it’s time to get serious.”

Parents Supportive but Cautious
Parents, while supportive of their children’s education, expressed concerns about the post-Durga Puja academic pressure. Swati Singh, a parent of a college student at Patna Women’s College, mentioned, “We want them to do well, but we also want them to enjoy their youth. It’s all about finding the right balance.”

Teachers Prepare for Upcoming Exams
Educators are also gearing up for the challenges ahead, preparing students for the upcoming exams. Teacher Pushpa Roy shared her approach, saying, “We understand that students need time to get back into the academic groove. Our focus is on effective revision, doubt-clearing sessions, and helping them regain their confidence.”

It’s worth noting that attendance at Patna Women’s College was relatively low, with many students choosing to continue their break.
