Patna: Around 90 former students of St Michael’s High School, Patna, gathered at New Patna Club on Sunday, bringing together batches spanning 1975 to 2012-13.
The gathering provided an opportunity for alumni to reconnect, share memories of their school days and discuss how they continue to support one another even after leaving the institution.
The programme began with alumni welcoming each other, followed by the felicitation of three former students — MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Justice Alok Kumar Sinha and Justice Sourendra Pandey — and a round of introductions.

Alumni Recall Stories of Strong Bond After School
Rohit Singh, who belongs to the 1985 batch, recalled getting help from fellow alumnus Rajiv Pratap Rudy (batch of 1977) during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Singh was airlifted with Rudy’s support and subsequently admitted to Max Hospital in Delhi. Rudy, who is also a licensed commercial pilot, said he ensured that Singh returned to Patna on the same flight that he was piloting.
The gathering also featured an interactive activity in which participants met fellow alumni, introduced them to others and discussed ways in which they could support one another.

Several alumni shared stories of former students helping each other, sometimes without knowing which batch the other person belonged to or even having met them during their school years.
Dinner And Dance Party Conclude Gathering
The programme concluded with dinner and a dance party, giving alumni an opportunity to continue their interactions in an informal setting.

Rohit Singh served as the point of contact for organising the event, while Manoj Yadav and Vivek Kumar coordinated the backend arrangements. Gautam Kumar of the 1995 batch also attended the gathering.
Sunny Agrawal, from the 2002 batch, anchored the programme.
